A wee bit about the owner - Ken Scobie

Scobie General Contracting is located just south of Manotick, Ontario

Ken started with the family business straight from high school after taking the TSSA approved Oil Licenced Technician No. 1 course at Algonquin College in Nepean. He was just one of the family members who installed and serviced oil furnaces for the 16 years Scobie Fuels of Manotick was in business. 

The family business was sold to Thermoshell in 1996 and Ken went with it to service and install furnaces in the greater Ottawa area. In 2007 Ken and family sold their house in North Gower, ON and moved to Arden, ON where he finally became his own boss!

He has now sold the house is Arden and moved back to the Manotick area.
